I can type in the exact filename and it won't find the file, but enter one or two characters and it works. Very clever: try to go back to the list of found files, and it (the list) has gone. I have been working on customer's computers for over 15 years now, extolling MS over Mac all the while - and now.. I have a directory in which there is nothing but avis.
