All these games are low-demand in the visual departments. my pc for sure runs better now. Installed Avast and got BSOD Kernel Power ID 41 restarts. I also could try checking those cables.I was just playing Minecraft for fun and PC completely freezed. have a peek here
its not very consistent. I ran every repair tool, virus scan, uninstalled Norton Internet Security 2011.. Note my system is a I7 3820, sabertooth x79 mobo, 16 gb of ram, samsung ssd 840 with 3 others mecanicals hd, gtx 570 video card, powered by a 850w psu. so the problem was your surge protector? It died shortly after, although it was 80+ certified and seemed to be of good quality (and also i didn't use it to it's full capacity). still happens shit loads of time...LE: it turns out to be the PSU.
