The BSOD error reports a STOP 0x100000ea error Normally the use of a 1 immediately after the x implies that it was a minidump that was generated. If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it. Doing a proper memory test means running it outside of Windows, which is why the process explained there is a little involved - requiring a boot device to be made. Do not post pirated content or promote it in anyway. Borrow one if you have to.
