FYI, My another USB port was physically damaged an year back. There's been no change in the faulty ports. They are outdated within weeks of being released, they are notoriously hard to upgrade or repair, and by nature they are subject to gradual decay or fatal... this content I think I'd better replace the chip by a new one.
