I need my computer for school... I ran a virus scan which seemed to pick up a few things. I used to connect to the internet with cable broadband service going from the cable modem to my Asus RT-N15 router and then by wire to my desktop computer. After a few times of it dropping out, it is no longer recognized and Windows says it needs to be formatted.
