I was able to log back into the desktop. Because to me, this seems like my old motherboard wasn't the problem at all and it was my old graphics card? Are both your drives SATA or? Could a power strip cause my PC to freeze?

But no, this is a false positive. Also it happened when watching a video, at the same time. Yes the card does have a fan on it and there are two more in my PC so I would hope that overheating is not a problem. A few days ago my computer started freezing up whenever I fired up a video game (Battlefield Heroes, Fallout 3) and sometimes even when I let it idle.
