Did "chkdsk /r" run properly, completing all 5 stages, with no errors? I removed the HDD from the laptop, and then put it back again, and Boom... Also the chkdsk /r ran properly, I didnt sit and watch it but after it finished it said it completed sucessfully eith no errors.
