At first, I had my main SSD Sata boot drive connected to the blue SATA controllers on the motherboard which are the 2 ASmedia SATA controllers. The issue was that the newer BIOS breaks the way Windows 8/10 read the SATA configuration and downgrading the BIOS fixes it. Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post.
